While this might be funny (or true, depending on your worldview), the promising young man I had the honor of photographing at the yo-occasion was more than just promising. He was fun, professional and in love. Which brings me to another quote about young men, this time by George Dennison Prentice: “When a young man complains that a young lady has no heart, it’s pretty certain she has his.”
But my most favorite must be the words of J.D.Rockeffeler: “The most important thing for a young man is to establish credit – a reputation and character.”
This young gentleman had both, and both good. ♥♥♥

I realized today: my high school senior clients (yo-kuvaus clients), the young people who are just stepping into the adulthood, were born the same year when I had my own yo-kuvaus. And this makes me … old! ??!!!!

I heard birds chirping when I was getting into the car yesterday morning. The snow was melting and it felt like spring. Even sun peeked out for a minute or two and there was a faint trace of blue sky amidst all the grey grey clouds. I thought to myself – the time is approaching. Fresh batch of graduates is in the baking oven right now and I want to be there when they celebrate. Are you waiting for the spring as eagerly as me? ♥♥♥
